Design Leader / Problem Solver / Storyteller
I discovered UX in 2018 and have been in love with it ever since.
Cheesy? Maybe. True? Absolutely.
I’m a creative and adaptable UX designer-turned-manager who specializes in tackling complex B2B SaaS challenges. I gets energized by human connection and empowering others to succeed - be it my team or end-users. My superpower is pairing storytelling with data to guide strategy and drive business outcomes. I balance a light-hearted approach with my commitment to deliver impactful results.

Themes I bring to my work and management style:
Shitty First Drafts
I create and share laughably bad artifacts with stakeholders as quickly and early in discovery as possible.
This concept is coined by Anne Lamott in Bird by Bird. It’s proven to be one of the most effective ways to generate discussion, iterate, and save time. I also love that it naturally separates the worth of an individual from the quality of their initial ideas, fostering a culture of trust and creativity.
Pluralism
“Trade a perfection mindset for a satisfied approach, jettisoning your belief that there’s a best or right way to do something and instead embracing the knowledge that there are many equally good ways to get the job done.”
This is a direct quote from Angus Fletcher’s book Creative Thinking: A Field Guide to Building Your Strategic Core. Pluralism reminds me to have an open mind, listen deeply, and appreciate how every person is unique.
Team-First Attitude
“Sometimes it’s better to be on the same page than the right page.”
I played elite ultimate frisbee for over 10 years. There were many moments of tension, when it felt like everything was on the line. My teammate said these words in a huddle and they’ve stuck with me ever since. They encourage me to let go of my ego and put the team first.
During off hours you can find me consuming sugar in all forms, playing outside around Colorado, or reading next to my cat Stevie!
